About the event
We hear a lot about wellness and the term often brings to mind things like exercise, eating healthy food,
meditating and getting enough sleep. We may also envision aromatherapy candles, taking a warm
bath, and treating ourselves to something special. While all of these are wonderful supports to overall
wellness, they may not be accessible in moments of high stress and anxiety, especially when
those moments take place in public. We will explore many elements of wellness but the core will be
helping each of you to discover what tools you need in order to center and ground yourself internally,
no matter where you are or what the situation is.
Some of the topics we will cover include:
The mind-body connection • Building relationships • Self-compassion
Coping skills • Developing a personal self-care plan
